Edmund P. Daley

Ed Daley is the senior trial attorney at Moquin & Daley. He received his college degree from Canisius College and graduated from Boston College Law School in 1974. He has concentrated throughout his career on complex civil litigation and has won many large verdicts and settlements for his clients, many in excess of $1 million. Ed has had great success in litigating cases in the areas of construction site accidents, toxic material injuries, police misconduct, product liability, nursing home negligence, and abuse and wrongful death cases. Medical malpractice has been one of his concentrations and he has successfully resolved cases concerning psychiatric malpractice resulting in suicide, and birth injury resulting in brain damage. He recently won a jury award of $4.15 million for the failure to diagnose breast cancer.

Ed has a special interest in representing injured children, and has made large recoveries for everything from defectively designed playgrounds to car accidents to childhood lead poisoning. He achieved the highest verdict and recovery for a lead poisoned child in Massachusetts, in excess of $2 million, as well as $4 million for poisoned siblings. He has successfully represented clients in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio and Georgia.

In addition to his trial practice, Ed was a member of the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has done trial practice presentations at Harvard Law School and Boston University Law School. He has been a panel member in numerous continuing education seminars concerning trial practice. He has been named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” as well as a Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine.
