Medical Malpractice
If you feel that you have been harmed by the medical care you or a loved
one received, you should consult an attorney with demonstrated experience
in the evaluation and trial of medical malpractice cases. The attorneys
at Moquin & Daley have that experience.
Our attorneys have
achieved many verdicts and settlements for our clients well in excess of
$1 million and many results in the multiple million dollar range. The
cases have involved a broad range of medical issues including:
- THE DELAYED DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER
- BIRTH INJURIES
- ORTHOPEDIC NEGLIGENCE
- EMERGENCY ROOM NEGLIGENCE
- WRONGFUL DEATH
- INFECTIOUS DISEASE MISDIAGNOSIS
- MEDICATION ERRORS
Our firm receives many calls from injured patients. Often they are looking
for answers; possible litigation is a secondary consideration. We consider
it part of our duty to screen cases and we attempt, in each instance,
to explain to the injured person or her family what happened. We promise
honesty.
We also evaluate and pursue medical malpractice cases for other attorneys
who call us to help them. Many of our cases come from other law firms
who look to us for expertise in cases with medical issues. Because of
our attorneys medical knowledge, and access to and contacts with physicians
across the country, Moquin & Daley has obtained a remarkable record of
success for our clients.
Medical malpractice is the legal term used when a doctor, nurse, or other
health care professional fails to follow an accepted standard of care
that directly causes harm to the patient. The standard of practice or
care can only be proved by an expert; in other words, by another medical
professional in the same area of practice testifying as to what the standard
is, and further testifying that the doctor or nurse treating the patient
failed to practice according to the standard.
Please contact us if you believe you have been seriously injured by the
acts or doctors, nurses, hospitals, chiropractors, podiatrists or other
healthcare providers. There is no fee for our review and evaluation of
your potential claim. If we accept your case, there is no fee unless we
are successful.
